You may also give Notre Dame valuable items or services. Such items might include real estate, art, antiques, a coin collection, or jewelry. They might also include such things as computer equipment or services such as remodeling, graphic design, or printing.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Corporate matching gifts have great impact and are an easy way to support the Academy. You can double or even triple your contribution if your employer offers a matching gift program. Please check with your Human Resources Department to find out if your company participates and how it works. Some matching gifts are done online now and are easy to complete.
Gifts of Stock
Gifts of appreciated securities offer tax benefits including the elimination of capital gains on the appreciated portion of stock gifts.

In accordance with IRS guidelines, the date of the gift will be the date on which the Academy of Notre Dame assumes ownership of the shares. For crediting purposes, the value is determined as the average of the high and low price on the gift date. In the case of unlisted securities, the value of the gift must be determined through an independent appraisal provided by the donor.
