Parent Leadership Council
Established in 2023, the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur’s Parent Leadership Council (PLC) is a philanthropic, advisory, and volunteer committee composed of current and former Academy parents. Although widely diverse in background and interests, members are parents of current or past students who are invited by the Academy because of their demonstrated charitable support of the Academy and expressed interest in serving the Notre Dame community. The council meets twice per year with The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur’s head of school, Dr. Laura Hotchkiss, and members of the Board of Trustees to discuss strategic initiatives and the vision for the future of the school. In addition, PLC members are invited to attend numerous events hosted by the Head of School throughout the academic year. Correspondingly, members of the Parent Leadership Council become ambassadors throughout the Notre Dame community, the Philadelphia region, and their own professional and social networks.
