Opening Liturgy and Picnic
The ND community gathers to open each academic year with prayer and celebration of the Eucharist. Freshmen are welcomed by their faculty advisors with a Saint Julie necklace and incoming sixth grade students receive a sunflower pin reminding us of Saint Julie's words, "As the sunflower turns always to the sun, so should we always turn to God." Colorful flags on the Mansion lawn mark each class gathering area for a picnic after Mass.
Junior Ring Mass
The class ring connects the history, memories, and shared experiences of all Notre Dame graduates. Juniors receive their ring during a liturgy celebrated with the ND community. The school seal appears on one side of the center stone and on the other side, ND’s Gates represent the bond and legacy of the sisterhood of Notre Dame.
