Transportation Options

The Academy of Notre Dame is home to students from all over the Greater Philadelphia Region.

Our location on PA Route 320 is easily accessible from many major highways as well as SEPTA’s regional rail line (shuttle van service to and from the Bryn Mawr station is provided). Public school districts within a 10-mile radius will transport students to Notre Dame. Outside of that radius, three private busing options are available for an additional fee.

Shuttle Van Service

Notre Dame provides shuttle van service to and from the Bryn Mawr SEPTA train station at no additional cost to families.

Our nine-passenger van makes two morning pick-ups from the Lancaster Avenue side of Bryn Mawr station. In the afternoon, the shuttle transports students back to the Lancaster Avenue side of Bryn Mawr station.

Your daughter may take the shuttle occasionally or daily. Please contact Amy Dougherty at adougherty@ndapa.org to let us know that your daughter plans to use this service.

Pick up at Bryn Mawr station (Lancaster Avenue):
7:10 am and 7:35 am

Depart Notre Dame for Bryn Mawr station (Lancaster Avenue):
3:10 pm, 3:35 pm, and 5:30 pm

Weekday SEPTA train schedule: Paoli/Thorndale Line

Private Busing

Notre Dame offers private busing for areas not serviced by public school districts (fees apply). Private bus routes change yearly according to ridership needs.

Chester County

  • Henrietta Hankin Library (Routes 401 & 100)
  • Target Store (Route 100 & Sunrise Boulevard)
  • Malvern Preparatory School

Montgomery County

  • Bus picks up and drops off at the Wegmans Cafe, Providence Town Center, Collegeville (partnership with Malvern Prep).

Philadelphia
