The Experience of God in Everyday Life

Friday, March 8, 2019
8:30 am-1:00 pm
The Mansion

“I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.

We believe that God is always with us. In our morning together with Sister Mary Anne, we will ponder WHO this God is who is always with us and WHAT that reality looks like in our day-to-day lives.

The morning will begin at 8:30 am with Mass in the chapel, and conclude with a luncheon at noon after the presentation and discussion.

This event is open to everyone. Please feel free to invite other mothers who would be interested in deepening their prayer life, enjoying fellowship, and growing in faith. If you are unable to attend the entire morning, you are more than welcome to join us for any part of the day. If you have any questions please contact Renee Massaua at reneemassaua@gmail.com or Leigh Lignowski at leighaal70@aol.com.

Please sign up online by Tuesday, March 5, 2019. The retreat is $25 per person.

Sister Mary Anne Nolan is a Sister of Mercy, who is Co-Director of Mercy Spiritual Ministries which is based at Gwynedd-Mercy University. Founded in 2000, Mercy Spiritual Ministries engages individuals and groups in prayer, reflection, and ongoing spiritual development. The organization’s mission is rooted in the Gospel and the charism of the foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley, and has as its focus what it describes as “that special quality of the heart of God, which is God’s mercy.”
