Make Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches for the Patrician Society
All parents are welcome. Please join us the third Thursday of every month in Bascome Trexler to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the Patrician Society. Donations of Peanut Butter & Jelly, bread, plastic sandwich bags and cheese slices are greatly appreciated. Please drop any non-perishable items off at the Advancement Cottage.
Patrician Society Mother–Daughter Volunteer Opportunity
Enjoy a Notre Dame Mother–Daughter volunteer afternoon together. Lend a helping hand and join together with a friend and other ND mothers and daughters at the Patrician Society in Norristown. Spend the afternoon benefiting others by helping at the Patrician Society to move bagged goods, unload and separate donated items, and fill orders for the needy.
iCan Shine Bike Camp
The Academy of Notre Dame hosts this program for 25 campers in June/July. The mission of iCan Shine is to teach individuals with disabilities to ride a conventional two-wheel bicycle and become lifelong independent riders. This achievement, in turn, creates a gateway of opportunity helping them gain assurance and self-reliance. This is a week-long program and requires 50 volunteers.
