On March 19, Notre Dame had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Eduardo Ramos-Gomez to campus. He is the former ambassador of Mexico to Singapore and currently serves as the managing partner of Duane Morris's Asian office. Mr. Ramos-Gomez spoke to students about the changing global landscape and how knowledge, confidence, and determination on a global basis are to be nurtured by girls, who can then become instruments for change and peace. President Dwyer announced that Mr. Ramos-Gomez has agreed to serve as the Ambassador to Notre Dame's International Advisory Board for the newly established Center for Leadership and International Studies (created through the strategic planning process), which is now in the process of being developed.
