The Mansion

The Academy’s Gothic Revival Mansion was built in 1895 and renovated in 1926. Sisters and students arrived on campus in 1944 after purchasing the Villanova estate, formerly known as Launfal. The Mansion is a much-loved symbol of the Academy, site of graduation and special events and home to all World Languages classes.

Harron Family Building & Aimee Willard Gymnasium

All guests and Admissions Office visitors are welcomed to Notre Dame through the lobby of the Harron Building, built in 2007. The building includes the Office of the Head of School, classrooms, the Aimee Willard Gymnasium, fitness center, and school store.

Cuvilly Hall & Gymnasium

This shared worship, performing arts, and middle school athletics space has undergone several recent upgrades and renovations, including installation of new lighting and new sound systems.

The Riley Center for STEM Education

Completed in April 2019, the Riley Center includes eight science laboratories, three labs, eight mathematics classrooms, a design thinking and entrepreneurship classroom, and labs dedicated to design and innovation, robotics and coding.

Connelly Arts Center

The bright and airy Josephine Connelly Arts Center opened in 2000 and offers space for arts, ceramics, dance, choral, and instrumental classes.

Fitzgerald Fieldhouse at Launfal
Athletics Fields and Track

Construction of two standard-setting synthetic turf fields and new track was completed, along with upgrades to the softball field in 2014. Student athletes compete on one of the area’s finest lacrosse, soccer, and field hockey fields.
