The Buzz Around Campus Notre Dame Hosts Alumnae Panel for Current Student-Athletes On May 16, the College Counseling Office hosted an Alumnae panel to educate current Notre Dame student-athletes about the intricacies of getting recruited and playing a college sport.
The Alumnae shared their stories of what it takes to be successful as a collegiate student-athlete, competing at the highest level. Their inspirational messages of persistence, time management, the college selection process and much more was informative and well received from our students.
We wish to extend our sincerest gratitude to the following Alumnae who were so generous of their time and made a huge impact on our student-athletes:

Dedication in Honor of Kate Gibson '03 A dedication in honor of Kate Gibson '03 was hosted by the Alumnae Association and the Gibson family (pictured above) on May 15 at the Notre Dame Varsity Softball game.
Kate loved softball and was a fierce competitor for both Notre Dame and Albright College. Through generous donations from family and friends, the Notre Dame softball scoreboard was dedicated in memory of Kate. Following the post-game dedication, there was a reception on the Gillin Terrace, as family and friends gathered together to remember and honor Kate's spirit.
