Hall of Excellence
Designed to honor the extraordinary achievements of our community, this new initiative brings our traditional Alumnae Awards and the Athletic Hall of Fame together under one single, unified umbrella of excellence. By merging these celebrated traditions, the Hall of Excellence will comprehensively honor outstanding leadership, professional achievement, exceptional athleticism, and dedicated service to the Academy.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be an alumna of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur (with the exception of Hall of Fame coaches, administrators, or sports contributors).
- Must have graduated or contributed at least 10 years prior to their nomination (2016 or earlier).

Notre Dame Award
The Notre Dame Award is presented to an alumna whose ongoing commitment to the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur is exemplary in scope, enthusiasm, and diligence. Acknowledging the value of a Notre Dame education, she offers her time, energy and whatever resources at her disposal to ensure the future of the Academy and expand its influence.
Distinguished Alumna Award
The Distinguished Alumna Award is presented to an alumna who has distinguished herself in her personal or professional life, in her intellectual pursuits, or in her dedication to service of community, country or society.
St. Julie Award
The Saint Julie Award is presented to an alumna of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur whose life contributes to the recognition of the goodness of God in all creation, and who commits herself to the service of others. This woman is chosen by her peers as a model of faith, optimism, integrity, and unselfish dedication.
Athletic Hall of Fame
The Athletic Hall of Fame honors those who have made outstanding contributions to the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur's athletic programs and brought distinction and excellence to the Academy. These inductees are recognized for their achievements in sport and their embodiment of the values Notre Dame instills — integrity, sportsmanship, and dedication both to their sport and to one another.

2022 Notre Dame Award Recipient
Julia has dedicated her career to ministry, from the Jesuit Volunteer Corps to an MA in Theology from Villanova, now serving as ND’s Director of Campus Ministry. Leading with optimism and love for ND traditions, she shares God’s goodness daily through her work, deeply invested in our community.
2022 Distinguished Alumna Award Recipient
Eryka earned her social work degree from Temple University and her Master’s from Bryn Mawr College. A licensed social worker across medical, school, and adoption fields, she owns The Quinn Center for Performing Arts, blending social work and the arts to uplift youth throughout Philadelphia.
2020 St. Julie Award Recipient
Martie became Executive Director of SpeakUp! in 2015 after helping found the organization. She brings over 20 years of experience advising leading nonprofits and foundations, including The Pew Charitable Trusts, William Penn Foundation, and GlaxoSmithKline.
2022 Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee
Kelly starred in lacrosse, field hockey, and basketball at Notre Dame, scoring 255 goals as a four-year lacrosse starter and earning two-time First Team All-American honors. She went on to captain Penn’s four-time Ivy League Championship team and win a Scholar Athlete of the Year award.
