Athletics Parent Information

Upper School Athletics

The Athletic Department has moved to a paperless registration process for collection of department forms. These forms were sent directly to parents in July. This registration process must be completed, along with submittal of the athletic fee, before your daughter is able to try out for a fall sport.

All Upper School student-athletes are required to review the Upper School Athletics Handbook.

Any athlete/parent who would like to contact Karen Fox-Lavelle, Notre Dame's Athletic Trainer, can reach her at (610) 613-2866 or karen.fox@atipt.com.

Middle School Athletics

All middle school student athletes are required to review the Middle School Athletics Handbook and turn in the Handbook Review Form and Transportation Form for each school year during which they participate on a team.

Information from Parents Meeting - All Seasons

Read important information from Notre Dame's Athletics Department below:

Concussion Protocol

With concussions in student athletes becoming more and more of a concern, the Academy of Notre Dame has established a protocol that outlines procedures to be followed in managing head injuries to ensure that athletes only return to activity when it is safe to do so. We understand the competitive nature of sports, but hold athletes’ health and safety as our top priority.

Physical Examination

All Notre Dame student athletes must have a current (within one year) physical on file with the athletic department in order to participate in any sport or sports camp. All documentation should be  submitted to the athletic office and be from a medical professional and must be original documents. If a copy or fax is submitted, then the original must be submitted within a week.

Fitness Center

All Notre Dame students must have a fitness center form on file in the Physical Education Department in order to use the fitness center.

Sportsmanship Code

The goal of the Inter Academic League Sportsmanship Code is to insure respect among participants, coaches, parents, other spectators and officials at all League contests.
