The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur Athletics Department embraces the philosophy that competitive athletic programs should complement the excellent academic traditions of the school. Our athletic program aims to develop self-discipline, loyalty, pride, teamwork, cooperation, and respect for others. Notre Dame is a member of the Inter-Academic Athletic League, which stresses excellence in academics and offers a competitive atmosphere for sports.

Upper School Sports
Notre Dame encourages

In addition, we play a highly competitive non-league schedule in all Upper School sports, competing against other public and parochial schools from Delaware, Bucks, and Montgomery counties. Notre Dame encourages the multi-sport athlete, recognizing the value of the full athletic experience. Many of our student-athletes go on to participate in sports at the collegiate level.

ND athletics emphasizes skill building, team spirit, and sportsmanship.
The Middle School athletics program emphasizes skill building, team spirit, and sportsmanship. Notre Dame is a member of the Girls Catholic Academy League in field hockey, basketball, lacrosse, and softball. The soccer, tennis, volleyball, and swimming teams compete independently.
