Notre Dame Dance

The Academy of Notre Dame’s Dance Program welcomes all students, from seasoned dancers to beginners discovering their love for movement. No matter your experience level, there’s a class tailored just for you. In the Upper School, students can choose from a variety of performance-based courses, including Introduction to Dance, Dance Appreciation and Performance, SecoND Company, and the Upper School Dance Company.

In the Middle School, every student gets to experience dance, as it is a required course—giving all learners the chance to build confidence, creativity, and foundational technique.

The Academy of Notre Dame Dance Company Program is an audition-based ensemble of dedicated dancers who train and perform throughout the year. This program is designed for students who are passionate about the art of dance and eager to grow in a collaborative, high-level setting. Auditions for the Dance Company are held each spring, prior to course selection.

2025 Fall Dance Festival

One of the main reasons I chose to attend ND was because of the dance and theatre programs. With so many opportunities to perform, it felt like I was attending a performing arts school. Today, I'm a senior at one of the top music schools in the US and have performed professionals around the country.
