• Jump Start Program for Class of 2026 (optional): August 16-17
• Upper Fall School Sports Begin: August 22
• New Family Mass and Dinner: August 31
• Orientation for grade 6 and 9 and all new students: September 1
• School begins for all students: September 6
• Upper School Back to School Night: September 15
• Opening Liturgy and Mother/Daughter Picnic: September 16
• Middle School Back to School Night: September 22

Students must submit the following to the Health Office prior to the first day of school*:

1. Physical Exam

• State law requires 6th and 11th graders to submit a physical exam dated no earlier than one year prior to the first day of school.
• New students entering any grade must also submit a recent physical examination. 
• No specific form is required for these exams; however, the form submitted must be an original.

2. Immunization Record

• List of Pennsylvania State Required Immunizations
   

3. Dental Form (Grade 7 only)

• Dental form for seventh graders

*Please note that, per Notre Dame policy, students will not be allowed to begin the school year without required health form documentation.

We offer a wide range of sports and clubs with a hope that there is something for everyone to get involved in at Notre Dame. Fall sports start on Monday, August 22, prior to school starting. All tryouts are mandatory. Meetings for parents of girls interested in participating in fall sports will take place on August 17 at 6:30 pm.

Notre Dame is proud to partner with SAGE Dining Services®. SAGE, established in 1990, is the leading food service provider for independent schools and colleges throughout North America. SAGE provides our school community with customized, delicious, dietitian-approved meals, cooked from scratch using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Please visit our Culinary Services page to learn more about SAGE Dining Services, create a dining account for your daughter. and access the weekly ND menu.  

The uniform consists of a kilt (purchased from Flynn & O'Hara) and a golf shirt (purchased from Lands End, Flynn & O'Hara, or the school store). The winter uniform in effect from November to April includes a school sweatshirt (purchased in the school store) and blue leggings or tights. There is no school shoe. Students may wear traditional school shoes in brown, black, tan, or navy or conservatively-colored sneakers.

The ND Shamrock Shop is open Monday through Friday during the school year and selected items may be purchased through our online shop. Please see the school website for details. The store is also open for select events on campus throughout the year.

Campus buildings are locked and all students, faculty, and staff gain access to buildings through the use of identification “prox” cards. Visitors to campus enter at the Harron Building and must scan their driver’s license into VisitU, a platform that conducts background checks against the National Offender Database and informs school personnel if an offender checks in. 

New students will receive their prox cards during their orientation in August.
