To begin the formal admissions process for the 2025-2026 school year, create an online account to submit an application. From there, you will have access to a personalized, grade-specific checklist of requirements. 

As you progress through the application, you will be able to track which components have been received and check your progress. Feel free to email the Admissions Team if you need any help along the way!

Notre Dame requires current standardized testing for all applicants.

9th Grade Applicants:
9th grade applicants for the 2025-2026 academic year are invited to take the following Exams: US Entrance Exam (HSPT): October 19 & 26 at 8 am. US Entrance Exam (ISEE): October 20 at 8 am.  Register here. 

Please note that 9th Grade Applicants are only required to take one Entrance Exam (either the HSPT or ISEE). 

Middle School Applicants:
Notre Dame offers Entrance Exams for Middle School applicants which will take place on campus at Notre Dame on October 19,  20, & 26 at 8 am. Register here. 

Applicants for all grades may submit the results of the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), or the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). Both tests are administered locally at locations throughout the region. The Academy's ISSE Code is 395000.

This information provides parents an opportunity to tell us more about their daughter beyond what is evident from other application materials. Students are neither admitted nor denied solely based on this component; however, the Admissions Committee finds it incredibly valuable as we seek to understand each applicant from the perspective of those who know her best. You may access the Parent Statement from your account in your application checklist.

Prospective students are invited to participate in a shadow day visit, which will allow them to observe Notre Dame classes.

Applicants will participate in a brief admissions interview as part of their visit. This conversation will help our admissions team get to know your daughter better and help us connect her interests and talents with the opportunities available to her at Notre Dame. 

Applicants visiting both the Middle School and the Upper School will participate in a full-day visit.

Print and sign the "Request for Release of Records" form on your admissions checklist and submit it to your daughter's current school. If she has been at her school for fewer than three years, please submit records from her previous school as well.

Confidential math and English teacher recommendations are required. Instructions are available on the admissions checklist.

Parents interested in applying for need-based financial aid should do so as soon as possible in conjunction with their Application for Admission.
