Arts
At Notre Dame, we believe that the Fine and Performing Arts are both a creative and an academic pursuit. The development of imagination, creativity, and aesthetic judgment are essential complements to the critical thinking skills developed in other disciplines.
Athletics
Leadership is forged on Notre Dame’s playing fields, courts, and in the water. Our student-athletes build strong foundational skills - including teamwork, persistence, and self-discipline - that will positively impact their lives and careers.
Campus Ministry
Through Campus Ministry and worship, students deepen their understanding of the faith tradition of the Catholic Church and carry the spirit of Saint Julie Billiart in their own lives by serving the poor and those who are neglected.
Student Life
Student-led clubs, performing arts, student government, literary publications, and Community Time activities engage students in all grades. Notre Dame is a sisterhood, where classmates become lifelong friends, traditions are honored, and life inside “The Gates” is treasured.

The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur Welcomes New Faculty and Staff

The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur is thrilled to welcome 11 new faculty and staff members for the 2021-2022 academic year.

On July 1, 2021, Dr. Laura M. Hotchkiss began her tenure as the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur’s fifth Head of School. Dr. Hotchkiss joined Notre Dame from The Marlborough School in Los Angeles, CA, where she most recently served as Associate Head of Academics.

Faculty members joining Notre Dame include Jeremy Creighton, mathematics; Christina DeAngelo, chemistry; Liliana Hernandez, Spanish; B. Alan Horn, mathematics; and Heather Newman, mathematics; Toni Griffin, mathematics; Chrissy Keffer, religion; and Martin Lopez, religion.

New staff members at ND include David Teasdale, Director of Operations, Elizabeth Winter, Digital Marketing Manager; and Wendy Rivera, Operations.
