On Saturday, September 25, the Notre Dame Varsity Volleyball team won the 13th Annual Cherokee "Spiketacular" Volleyball Tournament hosted at Cherokee High School in Marlton, NJ.
They won 9 out of 10 games, competing against the host team in the semi-finals and defeating Shawnee in the championship game. Other participating teams included Lenape, Seneca, Absegami, GCIT, Princeton, and Sterling.
Varsity Volleyball Coach David Ocasio said, "The final match of the day, the Notre Dame Varsity Volleyball team proved to everyone, including themselves, why they deserved to be ranked number one.
