In late February, 23 Notre Dame students completed 22 experiments and competed in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Sciences Competition. The students worked independently throughout the school year developing science projects that interested them.
Out of 22 projects, ND received 5 Second Awards, 16 First Awards, and 1 Perfect Score. Those who received a First or a Perfect Score are now qualified for the State PJAS meet in May. In addition, ND had five students win Special Awards which come with monetary prizes.
Congratulations to all on a job well-done!
