At the end of June, Notre Dame attended the Global Forum on Girls' Education III presented by the International Coalition of Girls' Schools held both virtually and in Boston this year.
Mrs. Nora Moffat, a fellow at this year's forum and Director of the Center for Global Leadership at ND, presented her research topic "How Does the Development of Perspective-Taking Skills Influence Real-World Problem-Solving Capacity in Grade 10 Girls in a Design Thinking Course?"
"I left feeling deeply inspired, rejuvenated, and ready to continue the work of global education at ND!" Moffat said.
For two years, Moffat worked with her international research group as they planned, carried out, and wrote action research projects and papers.
"The ICGS conference was top notch. It featured three keynote speakers who are women moving the needle in girls' education and gender equity in Liberia, Afghanistan, the US, and worldwide." Moffat said.
Congratulations to Mrs. Nora Moffat from the entire ND community!
