The Academy of Notre Dame Theatre Program Presents Finding Nemo Jr.

The Academy of Notre Dame Theatre Program Presents Finding Nemo Jr.
Abigail Merola

On February 20 and 21, 2026, the Academy of Notre Dame transformed the Cuvilly Stage into the vibrant underwater world of Finding Nemo Jr. for its Middle School musical production. Filled with colorful characters, lively music, and heartwarming humor, the show offered students the opportunity to shine in every aspect of performance and stagecraft. Presented through Music Theatre International, this beloved story came to life in a truly memorable way at Notre Dame.

At the center of the story was Nemo, whose journey of courage and self-discovery guided a touching tale about resilience, trust, and family. Alongside Marlin, Dory, and a sea of unforgettable ocean friends, Nemo’s adventure reminded audiences that even the smallest fish can make a big impact. Our Middle School students brought these themes to life with enthusiasm and authenticity, showcasing not only their talent but also their creativity and teamwork.

This year’s production was made possible thanks to the commitment and guidance of dedicated faculty, staff, and community members who supported our cast and crew through rehearsals. Notre Dame is grateful to Mrs. Pam Devenney, Mr. Matthew Buonomo, Mr. Nicholas Burbo, Mrs. Alexa Chambers ‘09, Ms. Lindsay Goldschmidt ‘20, and Mr. Doug Nagel for their leadership and enthusiasm in bringing this fin-tastic musical to life.
