Abigail Merola
To end our ND Student Spotlight for the 25-26 school year, we are excited to highlight Linh Taitt, a student whose involvement, leadership, and compassion have made a meaningful impact on the Notre Dame community.
Throughout her time at ND, Linh has been actively involved in Cross Country, Basketball, and Track. She has also dedicated herself to a wide range of clubs and service opportunities, including Hope Walks Club, Honor Corps, Student Ambassadors, and Campus Ministry. Her commitment to both athletics and service reflects a deep dedication to leadership in and out of the classroom.
When reflecting on her experience at ND, Linh shared that the greatest impact has come from the support of the Notre Dame sisterhood. The ability to be challenged while still feeling encouraged and empowered has helped her grow in confidence and ambition. She also emphasized how ND’s strong focus on service and community has shaped her into a more compassionate and mindful leader, committed to the dignity and well-being of others.
One of her proudest reflections on the ND community is the way students, faculty, and families consistently come together in prayer and support during times of difficulty. Whether during Community Prayer, Mass intentions, or the rosary in the chapel, she has been moved by how students across all grades unite to show care and solidarity for one another.
This fall, Linh will attend the University of Michigan to study Psychology. Congratulations, Linh, and best wishes as she continues her journey - GO BLUE!
