Middle School Chorale - Music in the Parks!

Middle School Chorale - Music in the Parks!
Abigail Merola

The Academy of Notre Dame Middle School Women’s Chorale struck a chord of excellence this month, delivering a spectacular performance at the Music in the Parks festival and bringing home the First Place trophy in their division. This achievement is a testament to our students’ dedication, marking a triumphant celebration of their hard work and artistic growth throughout the year.

The day began at Manalapan High School, where students joined talented ensembles from across the region. In a beautiful display of the ND spirit, our girls spent the morning not only preparing for their own performance, but sitting in the audience to support and applaud their peers. When it was time for ND to take the stage, the hours of meticulous rehearsal were evident. The chorale was applauded for its technical precision and artistry, ultimately securing the top honors.

With the formal competition complete, the celebration moved from the auditorium to the heights of Six Flags Great Adventure. The afternoon was a well-deserved reward for a year of hard work, providing the students with a chance to strengthen their bonds of sisterhood while enjoying a day of sun, laughter, and world-class coasters.

This triumphant end-of-year experience was made possible by the dedicated mentorship of our performing arts faculty and our chaperones, Mr. Burbo, Mr. Lowrie, Mrs. Bellopede, and Mrs. Cattie. Congratulations to our talented vocalists on a championship finish.
