Abigail Merola
The Academy of Notre Dame celebrates ten outstanding seniors who have committed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. The signing ceremony on November 12, 2025, gathered the Notre Dame community to honor the excellence of our student-athletes and the depth of our athletics program.
The following seniors will be taking their talents to the next level:
Gabi Abruzzo - Pennsylvania State University (Swimming)
Emma Anthony - Rutgers University (Lacrosse)
Bridget Blaney - Villanova University (Rowing)
Sicilia Clement - Bloomsburg University (Volleyball)
Finley Davis - Furman University (Lacrosse)
Kaitlyn Kollesar - University of South Carolina (Swimming)
Keira McHugh - Boston College (Lacrosse)
Avery Ruggiero - Lafayette College (Field Hockey)
Kiera Sack - Northwestern University (Field Hockey)
Maura Seeger - University of Richmond (Field Hockey)
These seniors have contributed to Notre Dame’s championship teams, earned individual records, and served as role models for younger students. Their achievements reflect not only on their own hard work but also the supportive environment and strong coaching that are hallmarks of the Academy’s athletics program.
Mrs. Laura Losey, who specializes in assisting ND’s student-athletes navigate the college process, shared, “Our College Counseling team is very proud of these students who committed to continuing their academic and athletic careers at the next level. Their accomplishments reflect years of hard work, discipline, and heart, and we celebrate this milestone alongside them. They carry with them the Academy’s traditions of excellence, service, and sisterhood.”
