Voices of Notre Dame

Caroline DeLucca '24

"Notre Dame is a place that has allowed us to find comfort in discomfort. A place where we can make mistakes and not be ashamed. A place where failure isn't a bad thing."

Joan Sammartino Turner '77

"There is no choice but to be a leader here. And students thrive with it - they take it and run. Nobody is going to tell a Notre Dame girl to not speak up for what she belives in, and I think we give them that strength."

Arianna Scavetti '07

"It is impossible to be a woman of Notre Dame and not fight for equality. It is impossible to be a woman of Notre Dame and not make a difference - just by being you."

Eleinna Calderon '23

Eleinna founded the Latin Student Union at ND

"Being in a community with other Latin students gave me the opportunity to learn about different cultures within the Latin community. I wanted to have a platform where we could all meet, share experiences and also open the Latin culture to the Notre Dame community."
