Members of the Academy of Notre Dame Chapter of the National Honor Society give back to the school in many different ways. Our members help out as greeters in Harron Lobby during study periods to welcome guests to our school. Some of our senior members are Writing Fellows who work in the writing center helping other students with assignments. Throughout the school year, a number of NHS members will tutor students in the library as a part of our NHS Peer Tutoring Program. Students who are inducted are also encouraged to volunteer to represent our school as guides on Experience Notre Dame Day, Open House and Back to School Night.
