Information Services (IS) at the Academy of Notre Dame is an integrated library and information technology organization. IS supports many aspects of the Academy, including the library, network infrastructure, access to the Internet, administrative systems, instructional technology applications and systems, multimedia computing labs, technical support services, technology enriched classrooms, and learning management systems.

The mission of Information Services is to collaborate with members of the Academy of Notre Dame community to facilitate their use of computing, library, and network technologies. To advance the Academy’s mission and strategic goals, we strive to empower our community to use information resources effectively and responsibly by providing excellent support services and infrastructure.
Information Services is committed to providing excellent support services in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner. IS staff members practice and maintain effective communications with members of the Academy to support their needs and provide opportunities for the community to offer recommendations and feedback on our services. Our services include sharing knowledge and ideas, troubleshooting and problem-solving, consulting, training, assistance with skill building, scholarly research, and exploring and pursuing emerging technologies.
Members of the Academy of Notre Dame community have easy, timely, reliable, and secure access to the campus network, information systems, and computing hardware and software at speeds sufficient to allow them to work efficiently and effectively from their offices, classrooms, and off-campus locations.
