Endowment
Notre Dame's Endowment provides additional income that supplements the school's annual operating budget. Endowed funds provide for the long-term financial health of the Academy, assuring that Notre Dame will have the resources to continue to provide educational opportunities through scholarships and financial aid, and to maintain an outstanding faculty through competitive compensation and opportunities for professional development.
Planned gifts play a vital role in increasing the Academy's endowment. An endowed fund generates income for the purpose specified by the donor, in accordance with the investment policies established by the Academy's Board of Trustees, and may be established at a variety of gift levels, in honor of or in memory of an individual. If you would like information on establishing an endowed fund, please contact Mary O. Waring, Director of Advancement, at 610.687.3867, or e-mail.
Sister Regina Endowed Fund for Financial Aid
Sister Regina Finnegan, former President of the Academy of Notre Dame, recognized the urgent need to increase funding for financial aid. During her years at the Academy she was entrusted with contributions from several sources to address these needs. A gift directed toward the Sister Regina Endowed Fund is a gift to the Academy’s endowment that will further Sister’s legacy and will help present and future students to achieve their potential.
