Access PA POWER (Pennsylvania Online World of Electronic Resources)
Library provides residents of Pennsylvania who have a valid public library card with access to selected databases. Type the following in the address bar of your browser: http://www.powerlibrary.net and then click on find POWER Library. Click on your county. Click on the library in your county's list. Click the link for Home Access to POWER Library Project. Enter the barcode from your library card.POWER Library resources include:

  • EBSCOHost - a comprehensive periodicals database
  • Encyclopedia Americana - General encyclopedia with Internet links
  • Searchasaurus - Search EBSCO children's databases
  • SIRS Discoverer Deluxe - An interactive reference tool for young readers
  • AP Associated Press Photo Archive - An archive of 500,000 current and historical photographs (requires Version 4 browsers)

Local Libraries
