Capital and Endowment

Capital and endowment gifts are an important component of the Academy of Notre Dame’s fundraising program.

The Academy is currently in Phase II of the OUR TIME to INSPIRE Campaign. In 2014, the school completed Phase I of this effort with the addition of two state-of-the-art turf fields, plus a track and renovated softball field. In addition, Launfal was renovated into a beautiful and highly functional fieldhouse for student-athletes. In April 2019 we celebrated the opening of the 30,000 square foot Riley Center for STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Phase II continues with planned renovations of The Mansion interior. Phase III of the campaign includes a new Student Center and a Liturgical and Performing Arts Center. Additional information regarding the OUR TIME to INSPIRE Campaign can be found here.

Notre Dame’s endowment provides a permanent, sustainable source of funding for the Academy, assuring that the school will have the resources to provide an outstanding education for future generations of students. Endowment principal is invested, and each year a portion of the value of the fund is utilized to support the fund’s purposed.

Named endowed funds may be established at Notre Dame with a gift of $50,000 or more and can be designated to support an area of interest for the donor such as financial aid for deserving students, faculty professional development, academic or extracurricular programs. When a donor chooses to establish a named endowed fund, an agreement is drafted with the donor outlining the donor’s wishes and explaining how the use of funds will be acknowledged and reported.
