JV Field Hockey 2008

Congratulations to the girls that played at the US Field Hockey festival in California over the Thanksgiving holiday. The team WON their pool and this was the first time in Notre Dame history! Way to go girls!

About the Coaches
Adele Williams continues to build a strong program as she begins her  6th season as Head Field Hockey Coach. In her inaugural season in 2001, she took up the freshman coaching position. The freshman team was undefeated that year. In 2002, she coached the JV Team and they too had a successful season winning the Inter-Ac Title for their division. In 2003, she was appointed Head Coach and led the Varsity Team to 3 consecutive Inter-Ac Titles.  In her 5 seasons of coaching, she has  led the team to 4 Inter-Ac Titles.

Adele Williams is originally from South Africa where she played both Field Hockey and Softball. She played Div. 1 Club Hockey and Softball from the age of 16. In 2000 she represented South Africa for Softball and had to sacrifice playing Field Hockey for National Team duty.
