Notre Dame Annual Fund
The Annual Fund enhances every aspect of a Notre
Dame education. Unrestricted gifts from alumnae, parents, and friends
are crucial to maintaining our expanding campus and to strengthening
the educational experience of every student. Examples of the ways
your Annual Fund gift is used include: continuous technology upgrades,
state of the art science and laboratory equipment, scholarship aid,
classroom resources and maintenance of our physical plant.

Planned
Giving
Planned or deferred gifts are designed to help donors enhance
their tax planning, investment objectives, and retirement
needs while ensure the future of the Academy of Notre Dame
de Namur. Planned gifts to the Academy's Endowment enable
the school to provide scholarship aid, enhance faculty salaries
and provide support for faculty enrichment. The most familiar
way to make a planned gift is through a charitable bequest
in your will. The Sister Mary Augusta Shoemaker Society honors
donors who have notified the Academy that they have included
Notre Dame in their will. For information on placing Notre
Dame in your will or other planned gifts, please contact the
Director of Advancement by phone at 610-687-3867. |
Gifts in Kind
Notre Dame gratefully accepts gifts of supplies, books and
equipment. Special tax deductions are available for firms
contributing gifts in kind to educational institutions. |
Matching Gifts
Many corporations match the charitable gifts of their employees;
some match gifts from the spouses of employees or from retired
employees. If your employer participates in a matching gift
program, your contributions can be doubled or tripled. Donors
need to return the appropriate form with their gift to the
Advancement Office to initiate the matching gift process. |
Tributes
Gifts in honor of or in memory or a loved one are a special
remembrance of members of the Notre Dame Community are are
deeply appreciated by the Academy. An acknowledgement is sent
to the family from the Advancement Office |
