Endowment

Notre Dame's Endowment provides additional income that supplements the school's annual operating budget. Endowed funds provide for the long-term health of the Academy, assuring that Notre Dame will have the resources to continue to provide educational opportunities through scholarship aid, and to maintain an outstanding faculty through competitive faculty compensation.

Planned gifts play a vital role in increasing the Academy's endowment. An endowed fund generates income for the purpose specified by the donor, in accordance with the investment policies established by the Academy's Board of Trustees, and may be established at a variety of gift levels, in honor of or in memory of an individual. If you would like information on establishing an endowed fund, please contact the Director of Advancement by phone at 610-687-3867.

The Sister Regina Fund for Financial Aid

When Sister Regina Finnegan was President of the Academy of Notre Dame, she recognized the urgent need to increase funding for financial aid. During her years at the Academy she was entrusted with contributions from several sources to address these needs. In 2004, the Sister Regina Fund for Financial Aid was formally established by the Board of Trustees to ensure that contributions would be retained and used expressly for financial aid purposes.

A gift directed toward the Sister Regina Fund for Financial Aid is a gift to the Academy’s endowment that will further Sister’s legacy and will help present and future students to achieve their potential.
