Respect for Life Club The Respect Life Club promotes a consistent ethic of life by addressing all human life issues; abortion, chastity, euthanasia, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and the poor, through education and formation. The club hopes to spread the Gospel of Life. Six members of the Respect Life Club attended the Ninth Annual High School Pro-Life Leadership Day at Archbishop Carroll High School on October 9. This annual event is sponsored by the Department for Pro-Life Activities and the Office for Catholic Education and provides an opportunity for high school students and faculty throughout the Archdiocese to come together for educational workshops and worship to foster their development as pro-life leaders within their school communities. Notre Dame’s attendees were seniors Christy Benedetto, Laura Schwartz, Kim Curtis, Samantha Mendez, Caroline Packer and junior Stephanie Powers. This is the ninth year that members of the club have attended Leadership Day.
