PJAS Deadlines
The following is a list of tentative Deadlines. Changes
in scheduling may cause these deadlines to be adjusted. I will try to
update this page as needed.
- During the month of January -
- Fill out appropriate forms to enter the competition
- Come to a scheduled meeting for all who are entering PJAS
- Early February - Begin working on PowerPoint after
you have received your corrected science fair paper back.
- By mid-February - Be sure to email PowerPoint to
Mrs. G. for critique.
- 1-2 weeks prior to competition - Schedule an appointment to
go over your presentation with Mrs. G. some time this week. Print
out slides from PowerPoint after we are both satisfied with your presentation.
- February 27 or March 6 - Present at the Region 1A meeting
at St. Anastasia's School in Newtown Square. Arrive by 8:30 a.m. You
will be finished by 12:30 p.m.
- Late April - For those who win 1st awards at the
Region 1A, now is the time to begin reviewing and updating your presentation
for the state meeting. Try to read through your presentation at least
once a week.
- First Week of May - Make an appointment with me to
go over your presentation.
- May 16 - Leave for the state meeting at Penn State
- it is a fun time!
